Roll With It – Garden Bugs

Bring the backyard to the play table! These clever two-in-one rollers and stampers invite children to look closely at the tiny creatures living right outside the door. Roll a flowering meadow into play dough or clay, then stamp a butterfly to flutter across it. Match the ladybird to the flowers, help the bee find the honeycomb and watch the caterpillar inch along its branch. Along the way, children practise varying pressure, rolling in different directions and building the hand strength needed for early writing while chatting about minibeasts, life cycles and habitats.
